JUNE BUSINESS OF
THE MONTH

GFWC Williston Junior Woman's Club

Join the Chamber in congratulating the Williston Junior Woman's Club as the June Business of the Month as selected by the Chamber Board of Directors.  For decades, the club has been an integral force in the Williston Community. Whether it's supporting education or raising awareness about everything from child abuse to cystic fibrosis, the women of the club throw themselves into their work. One of the jewels in their crown is the Williston School of Dance, founded in 1977, that enables our youth to pursue their artistic dreams. Pictured from left, Heidi & Ken Schwiebert, Monique Allnutt, Julie Barnett, Heather Sims, Jennifer Colwell, Dena Battle, Mary Martha Hartley, Marc Pompeo and Betsy Langan.

GIVING BACK

Making a Difference at Home

Williston Woman's Club

The Chamber made a memorial gift to the GFWC Williston Woman's Club honoring the late Judge Tim Browning, one of the Chamber's Honorary Members. Judge Browning was a strong supporter of the Chamber and its endeavors. His widow Georgia Browning, left, accepted the gift from Chamber Executive Director Carolyn Ten Broeck at the 2024 Annual Banquet.

WILLISTON FOOD PANTRY

The Chamber was happy to donate a large box of non-perishable food items, collected at the 2023 Miles of Smiles to the food pantry at Williston Methodist Church. Joyce Wilson, Mary Martha Hartley and Sheila Lewis show off some of their favorite donations.
